what you'll need: USB flash drive (USB-A, FAT/FAT32) or ARRI Lighting Service Manager (ALSM v5.6.1) via Ethernet
1Format a USB 1.0 or 2.0 drive as FAT or FAT32.
2Copy the .upd firmware file to the root directory of the drive.
3Set the fixture USB Mode to 'Normal' in the fixture menu.
4Insert the USB drive; the fixture auto-detects the update file and displays a list.
5Highlight the file and press the encoder knob to begin installation.
6Do not remove the USB drive until the fixture confirms the copy is complete.
GotchaOrbiter requires a Bluetooth 5.0 USB dongle for LiCo app control; this is separate from firmware update.
GotchaSkyPanel X21/X22/X23 array setups should be updated fixture-by-fixture before grouping.
GotchaSkyPanel Pro requires LiOS 3.2 or higher; fixtures running older firmware must update before use with new ALEXA modes.
