Consolidated C2OS release for R15 and LB800; adds Art-Net/sACN support via wired Ethernet
steps
what you'll need: C2OS Windows installer downloaded from cineolighting.com/reflex-r15-software/ (now 404). Installed on host PC; fixture updated via USB connection.
1Download C2OSInstaller zip from the firmware page (was https://cineolighting.com/reflex-r15-software/, now 404; last known installer: C2OSInstaller_v1.2.9.1019.zip for v1.2 and presumably a newer zip for v2.0.9.0604).
2Run the Windows installer on a PC.
3Connect the Reflex R15 to the PC via USB.
4Follow the on-screen installation instructions (PDF: Software-Update-Instructions-ReFlex-r15-2009232.pdf was linked from the firmware page).
5Verify upgrade eligibility: R15 must be on V1.2 or greater to upgrade to v2.0.9.0604.
GotchaIMPORTANT: The firmware download page (cineolighting.com/reflex-r15-software/) is now 404, no live download available on current site.
GotchaC2OS is a Windows application; Mac/Linux not supported for the update process.
GotchaUpgrade eligibility for v2.0.9.0604: R15 must be on V1.2 or greater. Units below V1.2 need intermediate update first.
GotchaThe current cineolighting.com is a Squarespace shell with no firmware downloads. Contact cineorepairs@nbcuni.com for firmware files.
GotchaNote: model name in the Cineo product line was 'ReFlex R15', if the fixture in inventory is a different Reflex variant, check with Cineo support.
Gotchav2.0.9.0604 also added Networking Addendum (PDF) for Art-Net/sACN setup, was at /wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Cineo-C2OS-Networking-Addendum-v.1.pdf (now 404).
