1Open Sidus Link app on iOS or Android.
2Ensure fixture is powered on and Bluetooth is enabled on the phone.
3Pair the fixture if not already paired (press the dedicated BT Reset button on the rear of the 300c).
4In Sidus Link, navigate to fixture management for the 300c.
5Select 'Firmware Update'; the app will auto-check for updates.
6Tap 'Upgrade Now' and keep the app open until complete.
GotchaNo firmware version number is publicly published by Amaran on any official page or download section. GotchaThe Downloads section on amarancreators.com/pages/amaran-300c contains only manuals and accessory compatibility sheets, no firmware file. GotchaFirmware update page on help.aputure.com only says to use Sidus Link OTA with no version listed. GotchaUsers on Facebook report update issues in 2025-2026, factory reset the light if update fails. Gotchaamaran.com is currently password-gated.
