what you'll need: Sidus Link app (OTA/BT), no USB update path, no downloadable firmware file published

1Open Sidus Link app on iOS or Android.

2Ensure the T2c tube is powered on (AC or battery) and Bluetooth is active.

3Pair the fixture if not already paired.

4In Sidus Link, navigate to fixture management for the T2c.

5Select 'Firmware Update'; the app will check for available updates.

6Tap 'Upgrade Now'; update takes 3-5 minutes, keep app open.

GotchaV1.5 is the only publicly confirmed version (sourced from beta-amaran Shopify listing, 07/09/2022). A newer version may exist but is not publicly posted on any official Amaran/Aputure page as of research date.

GotchaNo firmware file is listed in the Downloads section on amarancreators.com/pages/amaran-t2c.

GotchaT2c and T4c share the same Sidus Link update path but may be on different firmware versions.

GotchaReddit posts from April 2025 report T4c firmware update failures (error 101) via Sidus Link on Android, T2c may have similar issues; try iOS if Android fails.
