what you'll need: Sidus Link app (OTA/BT), no USB update path, no downloadable firmware file published

1Open Sidus Link app on iOS or Android.

2Ensure the T4c tube is powered on (AC or battery) and Bluetooth is active.

3Pair the fixture if not already paired.

4In Sidus Link, navigate to fixture management for the T4c.

5Select 'Firmware Update'; the app will check for available updates.

6Tap 'Upgrade Now'; update takes 3-5 minutes, keep app open.

GotchaNo firmware version number is publicly published for T4c on any official Amaran/Aputure page.

GotchaReddit thread from April 2025 (r/Aputure) reports T4c OTA firmware update failures at 10% with error code 101 using Sidus Link on Android. Workarounds: use iOS, ensure Bluetooth remains stable, retry after BT reset.
