what you'll need: USB-C flash drive (7z archive, FAT32); Sidus Link OTA also available
1Download firmware .7z file from amarancreators.com/pages/amaran-f21c Downloads section.
2Extract contents to the root of a FAT32-formatted USB flash drive.
3With the light powered off, plug the USB-C drive into the fixture's USB-C port.
4Power on the fixture; it will detect the firmware file and prompt to update.
5Confirm update and keep the fixture powered until complete (do not remove drive).
6Alternatively: open Sidus Link app > connect fixture > fixture management menu > Firmware Update > Upgrade Now.
GotchaFile is a .7z archive, must be extracted before copying to drive.
GotchaUSB drive must be FAT32; exFAT and NTFS are not supported.
GotchaF21c and F22c share the same firmware file family (labeled amaran F21/22).
Gotchaamaran.com is currently password-gated ('Coming Soon' Shopify page), use amarancreators.com instead.
GotchaSidus Link OTA requires internet access; ensure phone has signal or is on Wi-Fi.
