1Download KNOWLED_Firmware_MG4K_V1.03.zip from knowled.com/firmware-knowled_5/
2Extract the .bin file
3Format a USB drive as FAT32
4Copy only the .bin file to the USB root directory
5Insert USB drive into the MG4K's USB port
6Power on, upgrade starts automatically
7Wait for progress bar to complete
8Verify via Menu > Fixture Info
GotchaNote: MG4KR (full-color variant) is a separate firmware train, MG4KR V1.03 also released 2025-12-26 but is a different file GotchaMotorized accessory control is new in V1.03, required if using motorized iris/zoom accessories GotchaFAT32 only, single .bin in root
