what you'll need: USB drive only. Sidus Link and Sidus Link Pro not yet supported.
11. Download the firmware ZIP from aputure.com/downloads and extract it.
22. Copy the extracted files to the root directory of a USB drive (128 GB or less, FAT32 formatted).
33. For firmware 1.0 or 1.1, a two-step process is required: first copy .bmp and .drv files, set brightness to 0%, insert USB, trigger update, then remove head cable. Then delete those files, copy the .ctr file, and trigger a second update.
44. For firmware 1.2 and later, copy files directly and proceed normally.
55. Insert USB into the fixture control box.
66. Navigate to Main Menu, then System Settings, then Firmware Update.
77. Select Update Firmware and confirm Yes.
88. Do not unplug the USB or power during the update. Fixture restarts when complete.
GotchaTwo-step update required when upgrading from 1.0 or 1.1. Exact order is mandatory to prevent fixture malfunction.
