what you'll need: Sidus Link app (amaran app) OTA only, no USB update path, no downloadable firmware file
1Open the amaran app (not Sidus Link, PT series uses the amaran app, not the Sidus Link app).
2Connect to the PT4c via Bluetooth.
3Navigate to fixture management menu on the fixtures list page.
4Select 'Firmware Update', then tap 'Upgrade Now'.
5Keep app open and fixture powered until update completes (3-5 minutes per fixture).
6Batch upgrade available: tap ellipses on 'All' panel > 'Batch Upgrade'.
GotchaNo firmware version number is publicly published for PT4C on any official page. GotchaPT-series (PT1c, PT2c, PT4c) use the amaran app, NOT Sidus Link, different app than the rest of the lineup. GotchaA Facebook post (2023) noted that PT tube firmware did not yet support 'Manual' mode at that time. GotchaInternet access required during OTA update. GotchaIf update fails, perform a Bluetooth reset on the fixture and retry.
