steps
what you'll need: UpdaterAtor (recommended) or push from fixture via wired DMX chain
1Option A - UpdaterAtor: Connect fixtures to ETC Gateway or Gadget. Launch UpdaterAtor. Select fixtures and click Update.
2Option B - Push from fixture: Remove power and DMX In from the fixture with the new software. Hold Up and Down buttons simultaneously while restoring power. Display shows 'Udt rdy'. Press Mode button to begin. Display alternates 'Udt' and percentage complete. Display blinks once when done. Reconnect DMX In.
GotchaVersion number appears on display at power-up to verify installed version.
WarningMixed DMX runs: other fixture types in the DMX run do NOT need to be disconnected; push process ignores them.
GotchaOn first push of a new version, additional files are copied first (display shows 'c:XX') before the main update begins.
GotchaConfiguration changes just before power loss may not be saved; wait a few seconds after config changes before removing power.
GotchaColor point shifts toward green at end of fade when PWM set to 25 kHz (known remaining issue).
