FX mode removed; added RDM, Crossfade, expanded 16-bit personalities; firmware loaded onto LED controller (LED-150X, LED-151X, LED-152X, LED-120X, or LED-140X depending on system)
steps
what you'll need: USB Mini-B to PC, Renesas Flash Programmer, Windows only; firmware is flashed to the LED controller unit (not the panel); file: TrueMatch_RDM_V6_00_DFS.srec
1Download and unzip KinoFlo_RFP_V3.zip from https://kinoflo.com/true-match/
3Open TrueMatch6/TrueMatch6.rpj; select TrueMatch_RDM_V6_00_DFS.srec via Add/Remove Files
4Identify the LED controller model in the FreeStyle Air system (e.g. LED-120X)
5Unplug AC power from the controller
6Plug USB-A into PC
7Press and hold Preset 1 + Preset 2 on the controller simultaneously
8While holding buttons, plug USB Mini-B into the Data port on the controller
9Release buttons; click Start; wait for 'Operation Completed'
10Unplug USB, reconnect AC, press MENU to verify version
GotchaFirmware is flashed to the LED Controller, not to the panel head, identify the correct controller model before flashing
GotchaDFS firmware is shared across FreeStyle, Select, and Diva-Lite LED controllers, use the same .srec file
GotchaWindows 10/11 only
GotchaFX mode removed in v6.0
GotchaProduct page at kinoflo.com/freestyle-air/ notes firmware is updatable via Mini B USB but does not list current version, confirmed v6.0 DFS from True Match page and Flash Programmer document
