steps
what you'll need: USB Mini-B to PC, Renesas Flash Programmer, Windows only; file: TrueMatch_RDM_V6_00_CEL2.srec
1Download and unzip KinoFlo_RFP_V3.zip from https://kinoflo.com/true-match/ (firmware download link)
2Run Renesas_Flash_Programmer_Package_V31600.exe to install programming software (one-time only)
3Open TrueMatch6/TrueMatch6.rpj project file; if file listed is wrong version, use Add/Remove Files to select TrueMatch_RDM_V6_00_CEL2.srec
4Unplug AC power from the fixture (USB cable will power it during flash)
5Plug USB-A end into PC
6Simultaneously press and hold Preset 1 and Preset 2 buttons on the controller
7While holding Preset buttons, plug USB Mini-B into the Data port on the controller
8Release Preset buttons
9Click Start in Renesas Flash Programmer; wait for 'Operation Completed' status
10Unplug USB, reconnect AC power, press MENU to verify version shown on display
