what you'll need: MIX 2.x firmware family (shared with MINI/MAXI). USB-A to Micro-USB + Windows PC (DFUSec), or myMIX app Bluetooth OTA.
1Download MIX-CT-FLASHING-BANKS-V2.1.3.zip from https://us.rosco.com/sites/default/files/content/resource/2023-03/MIX-CT-FLASHING-BANKS-V2.1.3.zip and extract it.
2If first time on this PC: run lct_installer_1.exe to install the USB driver.
3Launch DFUSec.exe, go to File > untick 'Lock LINK2 function'.
4Connect the SL1 MIX controller to power. If it turns on, turn it OFF.
5Connect the SL1 MIX controller to the PC via USB-A to Micro-USB cable.
6Enter update mode: press and hold the red dimmer button, power on the controller while still holding it, then release the dimmer button but keep holding the ON/OFF button.
7In DFUSec, click Start. Monitor the log for both flashing steps completing. Do not interrupt.
8Power cycle and verify firmware version in Settings.
Gotcha'SL1 MIX' is the older product name; current Rosco branding is 'DMG SL1'. Both use identical MIX 2.x firmware.
